This is a solid silver celtic inspired ring design. Pa-pa has combined a Celtic swirl and a casting of a real cockle shell in solid silver (not dipped)from the Gower Estuary at Penclawdd, to create this solid silver ring. Tiny pebbles of silver sit at the top of the shell where it meets the 3mm silver shank. The Celts are thought to have feasted on the cockles of Gower over the generations.
With subtle undertones of Welsh Celtic ancestry in mind this celtic ring has been filed, shaped and soldered by the hand of Gower's Welsh silversmith Pa-pa. The workshop is surrounded by evidence of hill top forts, ancient standing stones and buriel sites of the Welsh iron age clans on Gower. Email you ring size please.
